Los Angeles Clippers coach Doc Rivers has admitted that Blake Griffin found it tough to get his rhythm as they lost 109-105 to the Golden State Warriors.
Despite Griffin's best efforts, the Warriors won out thanks to standout performances from Klay Thompson and David Lee, who each scored 22 and 20 points respectively.
"It's tough to get your rhythm when you go in and out like that and you only play 19 minutes," Rivers told reporters after the game.
"I'm sure that Blake would like to have a couple of those fouls back. You can't waste fouls."
The sides meet again in Game Two on Monday night.
