Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan has refuted reports of a rift between him and teammate Chris Paul.
Jordan was close to sealing a move away from the Clippers, which was allegedly due to his poor relationship with Paul, but the 26-year-old reneged on his deal with the Dallas Mavericks to re-sign with Doc Rivers's men.
The center is adamant that he has a great relationship with his teammate even though they might have disagreements on occasions.
"I love Chris, man," Jordan told The Players' Tribune. "Chris is a big brother to me. When you play sports, you're competitive, especially when you play them at as high a level as we have these last few years.
"And of course, yeah, we all bump heads during the course of the game. But we know that whatever criticisms or arguments we have on the floor, they're about one thing: winning."
Jordan averaged 11.5 points per game last season.
