Los Angeles Clippers star Matt Barnes has revealed that the team were kept waiting for a trip to Memphis as the trade deadline approached on Thursday.
The 33-year-old was amongst the names linked with an exit, but ultimately Antawn Jamison and Byron Mullens were the only two players to be dealt by the franchise.
"The plane was a sweatbox today. It's just a business and it's tough. We sat on that plane for almost two hours looking around in silence, looking at Twitter," he said, ESPN reports.
Barnes was involved in late speculation which suggested he would be included in a deal which would have taken Iman Shumpert to the Clippers.
