John Calipari has "no interest" in New Orleans Pelicans job

Kentucky's John Calipari rules himself out of the running to become the next New Orleans Pelicans coach.

Kentucky Wildcats head coach John Calipari has insisted that he has no interest in leaving his position to join the New Orleans Pelicans.

The sacking of Monty Williams means that the Pelicans are searching for a new coach, and Calipari has been linked with a move to the NBA after leading Kentucky to the final four of the NCAA Tournament once again this year.

Calipari coached All-Star Anthony Davis in his only season at Kentucky and worked with Tyreke Evans during his time with the University of Memphis.
