Indiana Pacers star Paul George suffered a calf injury during Wednesday night's loss to the Memphis Grizzlies which ended the team's playoff hopes.
George had to be carried off the court by his teammates midway through the fourth quarter, but it has been diagnosed as a sore left calf after initial fears it could have been worse.
"Nothing serious," coach Frank Vogel said, ESPN reports.
"He got kicked pretty strongly in his calf, and it caused a calf strain."
With the Pacers eliminated from the playoffs, George insisted that he at least has the summer to recover and prepare himself for next season after recently returning from a broken leg.
