Reserves named for All-Star game

Dwight Howard and James Harden are among the players included on the list of reserves for the NBA All-Star game.

Houston Rockets duo Dwight Howard and James Harden have been included in a list of players selected as reserves for the NBA All-Star game.

Howard was tipped to be a starter for the Western Conference team but he will begin the game on the bench alongside Harden.

The Portland Trail Blazers have also been recognised for their impressive season, with both Damian Lillard and LaMarcus Aldridge earning a spot on the bench for the Western Conference.

Chris Bosh and Roy Hibbert have been named as reserves for the Eastern Conference but there's no place for the latter's teammate Lance Stephenson, who misses out.

Joe Johnson, who has impressed for the Brooklyn Nets this season, will make his seventh appearance in the All-Star game.

Eastern Conference reserves: Chris Bosh, DeMar DeRozan, Roy Hibbert, Joe Johnson, Paul Millsap, John Wall, Joakim Noah

Western Conference reserves: LaMarcus Aldridge, Dwight Howard, James Harden, Damian Lillard, Dirk Nowitzki, Tony Parker, Chris Paul
