Houston Rockets coach Kevin McHale has blamed his side's inability to sustain their offensive play during a 118-107 defeat to the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday night.
James Harden led the Rockets with 32 points, seven boards and six assists, while Chandler Parsons chipped in with 28 points and nine rebounds, but it wasn't enough as Chris Paul and his side cruised to victory.
"We couldn't sustain anything offensively," coach McHale told reporters after the game at the Toyota Center.
"They switched, and we didn't do what we had done earlier, which was attacking with the ball, and we got really stagnant.
"That's as bad as we've been, stagnant-wise and ball movement-wise, in a long time."
The loss still sees the Rockets sitting in second place in the Southwest Division with a record of 49-23 for the season.
