Report: Atlanta Hawks, Houston Rockets interested in Draymond Green

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is attracting interest from the Houston Rockets and the Atlanta Hawks as he prepares to become a restricted free agent.

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has reportedly attracted interest from the Houston Rockets and the Atlanta Hawks as he prepares to become a restricted free agent.

Despite suggestions from the NBA champions that they will use their option to match any offer Green receives this summer, the 25-year-old will be allowed to hold talks with other sides from Wednesday.

According to Yahoo Sports, the Rockets and Hawks are among the sides considering tabling offers for Green, who admits that he is willing to meet teams.

"The one thing I've been taught is to go into this thing with no expectations," he is quoted as saying.

"When you do, that's when it gets frustrating. That's when it gets stressful. I just want to have fun and enjoy this process. So I'm not going in there with no expectations for this or expectations for that. That would take away the enjoyment. And that's what I want, I want to enjoy this."

Golden State are expected to offer a contract just below the maximum deal for Green, who averaged 13.7 points, 10.1 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game in the playoffs to help the Warriors clinch the title.
