Former Golden State Warriors coach Mark Jackson rejoins ESPN's NBA announcing team and will cover the playoff final games in the coming weeks.

Former Golden State Warriors coach Mark Jackson has rejoined ESPN's NBA announcing team and will cover the playoff final games in the coming weeks.

Jackson had previously been based with ESPN before moving back to coaching, as he took the Warriors to the playoffs for the last two NBA seasons.

However, Jackson was sacked earlier in May following a poor run of results with the team, which saw them crash out of the playoffs in the first round of matches against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Before coaching, Jackson enjoyed a successful career in the NBA, appearing for 17 seasons, while also grabbing 10,334 assists.
