Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry has sent one of his jerseys to the Drazen Petrovic Memorial Center after leading his side to victory in the NBA Finals.
Curry, whose father Dell Curry played against Petrovic during his time in the NBA, admired the New Jersey Nets guard as a youngster and spent time with his mother Biserka Petrovic while watching the 1992 three-point contest.
After winning the MVP award on the way to lifting the title with the Warriors, Curry decided to use one his jerseys from the six NBA Finals games as a gift to Biserka.
Petrovic passed away in 1993 after being involved in a car crash in Germany, having played in America for the Nets and Portland Trail Blazers.
The museum, which was opened in 2006, houses memorabilia from Petrovic's life and career.
