Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James is reportedly set to sign a new two-year extension with the organisation.
The second year of the contract is a player option, which gives him flexibility to take advantage of the salary cap increase.
ESPN reports that James did not speak with any other team this summer, and always intended on re-signing with the Cavs.
Cleveland have also re-signed Kevin Love and Iman Shumpert, while Tristan Thompson is expected to be next on the agenda.
James fell short in winning a championship last season, but averaged an NBA-best line of 35.8 points, 13.3 rebounds and 8.8 assists in the Finals against the Golden State Warriors.
