Brooklyn Nets agree buyout on Lawrence Frank contract?

The Brooklyn Nets reportedly agree to buy out the contract of assistant coach Lawrence Frank, potentially bringing his second stint at the franchise to an end.

The Brooklyn Nets have reportedly agreed to a buyout on assistant coach Lawrence Frank's contract, potentially ending his second stint with the franchise.

The New York Post, which cites league sources, has suggested that the Frank will now depart the Nets having only signed a six-year deal worth roughly $6m (£3.6m) last summer.

Frank's second term at the team has been plagued by reports of an apparent falling-out with former coach Jason Kidd, with new boss Lionel Hollins deciding against having former head coach Frank on his staff.

It is thought that Frank, who has the honour of being the second in all-time wins and games coached at the Nets, could make a move to work under Doc Rivers at the Los Angeles Clippers.
