Denmark's Mathias Boe and Carsten Mogensen take gold at the European Games after defeating Russia's Vladimir Ivanov and Ivan Sozonov in the men's doubles final.

Denmark's Mathias Boe and Carsten Mogensen have taken home gold at the European Games after winning the men's doubles final.

The Danish duo, ranked number two in the world, beat Russia's Vladimir Ivanov and Ivan Sozonov 2-0 (21-8, 21-13) in the final.

Raphael Beck and Andreas Heinz of Germany and Irish brothers Josh and Sam Magee took the bronze medals.

It is Denmark's first gold medal of the Games.
