Great Britain women reach 4x400m final at World Athletics Championships

Eilidh Child, Anyika Onuora, Kirsten McAslan and Seren Bundy-Davies help GB women to qualify for the final of the 4x400m relay at the World Athletics Championships.

Great Britain cruised into the final of the women's 4x400m relay at the World Athletics Championships with a second-place finish in qualifying this morning.

GB clocked a time of 3:23.90 to finish heat two in Beijing behind USA (3:23.05) and ahead of France (3:24.86) and reach the showpiece on Sunday afternoon.

Britain's team is comprised of Eilidh Child, Anyika Onuora, Kirsten McAslan and Seren Bundy-Davies.

Nigeria won the first heat at the Bird's Nest Stadium, with Jamaica, Russia and Canada also qualifying.
