Great Britain women advance to 4x100m relay final

Asha Philip, Jodie Williams, Bianca Williams and Desiree Henry help Great Britain to reach the final of the women's 4x100m relay in Beijing.

Great Britain have produced a season-best time to clinch a place in the women's 4x100m relay final at the World Athletics Championships in Beijing.

The quartet clocked 42.48s to progress behind Jamaica, who finished first in the heat with a time of 41.84s, and ahead of Canada in third on 42.60s.

The race from Asha Philip, Jodie Williams, Bianca Williams and Desiree Henry has added to a successful morning on the track for GB.

Earlier, Britain's men and women both safely moved into Sunday's final of the 4x400m final.
