Alberto Salazar, Mo Farah to continue partnership in World Championships

Long-distance runner Mo Farah will work with coach Alberto Salazar at the World Championships this month.

Great Britain's Mo Farah will work with American coach Alberto Salazar during this year's World Athletics Championships.

Salazar has been accused of handing athletes performance-enhancing drugs, including Olympic 10,000m silver medallist Galen Rupp, although Farah has been cleared of any wrongdoing.

Several investigations are currently ongoing, but Salazar plans to be in Beijing alongside the multiple gold medallist.

UK Athletics chairman Ed Warner told BBC Sport: "The only work he is doing for us at the moment is with Mo. He will be close to Mo throughout the World Championships because that is an athlete-coach partnership which has gone back for the last few years and is working well."

Farah will run in the 5,000m and 10,000m in Beijing.
