Paul Blake has taken a silver medal in the T36 400m final, beaten only by a world record.
Evgenii Shvetcov raced into an early lead and Blake looked to be gaining on the Russian, but the latter was too strong and took the gold medal with a new world record of 53.31s.
Blake ran a personal best of 54.22s to take a somewhat unexpected silver ahead of one of the favourites Roman Pavlyk, who ran 55.18s.
