British distance runner Mo Farah has announced that he will continue to work with coach Alberto Salazar, who has faced several doping allegations in recent weeks.
During a BBC Panorama documentary, Salazar was accused of encouraging doping among his athletes at the Nike Oregon Project, but after the American strenuously denied the claims, Farah has decided to remain with a coach he has worked under for four years.
In a statement, the 32-year-old said: "Following all of the speculation, I just want to make it clear where I stand. Although it has been a difficult time, I asked Alberto to respond to the allegations made against him, and he has now done so in full.
"He is someone that I have worked with for many years, and I feel as though I have to believe in Alberto with the evidence that he has provided. I will continue to work with him and focus on what I do best - training hard to win medals for my country."
Farah is scheduled to return to the track in Monaco on July 17.
