British heptathletes Louise Hazel and Katarina Johnson-Thompson ended their campaigns at the Olympic Games with respectable finishes in the 800m this evening.
Hazel finished her race in third spot with a time of 2:18.78, while Johnson-Thompson went one better and finished second in 2:10.76.
That time for the 19-year-old was the fastest she has ever run over that distance.
She has also set a new British junior record over the seven events.
