Christine Ohuruogu reaches 400m final at Zurich European Championships

Great Britain's Christine Ohuruogu reaches the 400m final as she looks to complete her gold medal collection with victory at the European Championships in Zurich.

Great Britain's Christine Ohuruogu has booked her place in Friday's 400m final at the European Championships in Zurich.

The 30-year-old was second in the first semi-final behind Spain's Indira Terrero, but didn't exert too much energy with the eighth-fastest time of qualifying (52.56s).

The second semi-final was a quicker race and Ukraine's Olha Zemlyak goes into the final with the fastest time after crossing the line in 51.24s.

A medal in the Europeans is the only major gold medal missing from Ohuruogu's collection.
