Mo Farah takes gold in men's 10,000m

Mo Farah takes gold in the men's 10,000m final at the European Championships in Zurich.

Great Britain have achieved a gold and silver finish as Andy Vernon came second to Mo Farah in the men's 10,000m final at the European Championships.

Farah sealed the victory by running the final lap in just 54s in Zurich to mark a triumphant return from a serious injury earlier this summer.

The Olympic champion took the lead with around 600m left, and held off a spirited surge from Vernon to take top spot.

Turkey's Ali Kaya took the bronze.
