Tatyana Lysenko claimed the Olympic gold medal from tonight's women's hammer throw final in London.
With her very first throw of the night the Russian broke the Olympic record with a distance of 77.56m.
She went even better later in the competition by throwing 78.18m, which secured top spot in the competition ahead of her rivals.
Poland's Anita Wlodarczyk took the silver medal, while Germany's Betty Heidler claimed bronze.
