Defending champion Usain Bolt confesses that he was not happy with his to start to his 100m heat.

Usain Bolt has admitted that he got off to a "bad start" in his 100m heat earlier today.

It didn't appear to hamper the defending champion, who emerged victorious in time of 10.09s.

"It was a bad start because I stumbled but the reaction was good. I'm glad it happened now," he told BBC Sport.

When asked whether he was in good enough shape to break his own world record in either the upcoming semi-final or final, Bolt responded: "We'll see."

Bolt's world record currently stands at 9.58s.
