Veronica Campbell-Brown breezes through to women's 100m final

Veronica Campbell-Brown and Blessing Okagbare book their places in the women's 100m final on Monday evening.

Veronica Campbell-Brown has qualified for the women's 100m final with a first-place finish in the second semi-final.

The Jamaican ran 11.02s to finish ahead of Gloria Asumnu and Khamica Bingham, who ran 11.25s and 11.32s respectively.

Nigeria's Blessing Okagbare ran a season's best of 10.93s to book her place in Monday evening's final, with Kerron Stewart of Jamaica joining her.

The final at the Commonwealth Games is scheduled for around 9.35pm.
