England marathon runner Steven Way has said that is "doesn't get much better" after he finished 10th in the marathon at the Commonwealth Games this morning.
The 40-year-old, who took up running to lose weight in 2007, ran a personal best and broke the British record for an over-40 veteran with a time of 2:15.16.
He told BBC Sport: "It doesn't get much better than that. The race went off at quite a slow pace, so I was leading for some of the first part, which was just brilliant.
"The magic goal for me was to get top ten, personal best and the British veteran's record, and I've achieved all those, so I'm going to go and have a drink."
The event was won by Australia's Michael Shelley.
