Team GB's Nicky Hunt eliminated in women's archery

Nicky Hunt of Great Britain is beaten by Natalia Erdynieva of Russia in the women's archery 1/16 elimination round in Baku.

Great Britain's Nicky Hunt has been beaten 6-4 in the women's archery 1/16 elimination round by Russia's Natalia Erdynieva.

The 30-year-old, who is ranked at number 225 in the world, begain brightly against her illustrious opponent, taking the first set in style.

However, Erdynieva, 26, showed why she is ranked 34 in the world with a resilient performance that included two perfect 10s in the final set.

Hunt won double gold at the 2010 Commonwealth Games and carried England's flag during the closing ceremony.
