Mike Shanahan has said that he expects Robert Griffin III to "set a record" for his recovery from knee ligament damage.
The Washington Redskins quarterback underwent surgery in January to repair tears to two ligaments and could miss the start of the 2013 NFL season.
The Redskins head coach told NFL Network: "He'll set a record for coming back because that's how hard he works.
"It takes time. Robert will do it the right way and we'll find out in July exactly where he's at. He will not come back until he's 100%."
RG3's father recently announced that the NFL offensive rookie of the year is ready to start running as he continued his recovery.
