Robert Griffin III: 'Washington Redskins aiming to improve in final four games'

Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III says that the team will be looking to improve in their final four games of 2013.

Robert Griffin III has said that the Washington Redskins will be looking to improve in their final four games of the 2013 NFL season.

The NFC East side's 24-17 defeat to the New York Giants last week has ended their chances of reaching the post-season.

The quarterback told reporters: "I think you always have something to play for. I think, no matter what, when we step out there on the field, our record doesn't matter. That doesn't come with you out there on the field.

"We have a job to take care of, to play a game that's a lot of fun. Losing's not fun. Everyone knows that, but at the end of the day, you still have to show up all ready to play and you just have to make a conscious effort to get better at whatever it is.

"When you look at yourself on tape and say, 'I need to get better at this', make a conscious effort to get better at it over these next four games."

The Redskins face the Kansas City Chiefs this Sunday.
