Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III has insisted that he will be fit in time for the club's training camp, which begins on July 25.
RG III said that he is pleased with the way his knee has recovered from surgery and treatment, which makes the training camp a realistic target.
"One, it's a mindset and then two, it's how it's progressed," ESPN quotes Griffin as saying.
"I feel confident in my body and the way it's been responding. Training camp's a month-and-a-half away. That's why I say without a doubt [I'll be fit for the training camp]. I think it's the right target if I'm healthy."
Griffin threw for 3,200 yards with a QB rating of 102.4 in his debut NFL season.
