Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston has insisted that his age will not be a limiting factor in the 2015 season.
Winston was selected by the Buccaneers with the first overall pick in the 2015 Draft, and the 21-year-old has impressed his coaches enough to be named as the starter for the upcoming campaign.
He told reporters: "One thing that I've learned is if you can play it don't matter what age you are, it doesn't matter. I believe we have a great team in place. I'm looking forward to the season. I can't wait.
"On this team, I'm just accepting my role. We have a lot of veterans – Vincent [Jackson], Gerald [McCoy] - those guys are our leaders. My job right now is to play quarterback."
The Buccaneers open the season against the Tennessee Titans on September 13.
