Jeff Fisher confirms Sam Bradford to remain as starter

St Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher announces that Sam Bradford will continue to be the club's starter for the 2015 season when he returns from an ACL tear.

St Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher has insisted that Sam Bradford will be the club's starting quarterback for the 2015 season.

The 27-year-old missed the 2014 campaign after suffering a torn ACL during pre-season, the second time that he had sustained the injury in two years.

Despite the fact that Bradford is due to earn $12.985m (£8.5m) in the 2015 season and has struggled to live up to expectations during his time with the Rams, Fisher is adamant that the five-year veteran will remain his starter.

"That's correct, yes," Fisher told reporters. "He's been in the building since the season ended. He's doing well."

Bradford has thrown for 11,065 yards along with 59 touchdowns to 38 interceptions in his five-year NFL career.
