Jeremy Lane has sustained a potentially game-ending arm injury while making an interception during this evening's Super Bowl in Arizona.
The Seattle Seahawks cornerback picked off a pass from New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in the first quarter of the NFL showpiece, but was injured when Julian Edelman tackled him near the sideline as he landed awkwardly on his arm.
The 24-year-old left the field with an aircast on his left arm, and the team confirmed shortly after that his return to the game is doubtful.
Lane had 35 tackles and a forced fumbled during the season, but the interception was the first of his three-year NFL career.
