Seattle Seahawks without Max Unger, Red Bryant for Atlanta Falcons game

The Seattle Seahawks will be without center Max Unger and defensive end Red Bryant for their game against the Atlanta Falcons because of concussions.

The Seattle Seahawks have confirmed that Max Unger and Red Bryant will not play against the Atlanta Falcons in the NFL this weekend.

The center and defensive end have both been suffering from concussions following the team's overtime win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last weekend, and are yet to be cleared to play.

Head coach Pete Carroll told reporters: "Those guys will not go. They're not going to play.

"We're going to take care of them this week and have them ready for next week, hopefully."

Lemuel Jeanpierre will fill in for Unger, while Michael Bennett and Tony McDaniel will cover for Bryant.
