Percy Harvin has said that he is ready to make his debut for the Seattle Seahawks this weekend.
The NFC West leaders gave up their first-round Draft pick to acquire the wide receiver from the Minnesota Vikings during the off-season, but a pre-season hip injury has prevented him from playing so far in 2013.
The 25-year-old told Yahoo! Sports: "I definitely think I'm ready to play. I still have a lot of work to do, but it was great to be out there with my teammates running plays and going to the huddle.
"I wasn't real concerned [by a setback earlier this month]. There was just a little fluid buildup in there. The bone structure and everything was fine. We got the fluid taken out and I was good to go. There's no swelling and no stiffness now.
"To be able to put [three consecutive practice days this week] together without any problems is great. To go through my injury with the team winning, it allowed me to heal up and do this the right way. I just want to fit in and help make things happen."
