Phil Bates has revealed that he has been trying to learn to play a number of positions during the Seattle Seahawks' training camp.
The wide receiver has also practised as a running back and fullback as he prepares for his second year in the NFL.
He told the team's website: "It was cool. [Offensive line coach Tom] Cable came to me and talked to me about it. And, I mean, I'm willing. Whatever I can do to help the team, and benefit myself as well as them, I'm with it.
"I don't study like one position, I try to learn the whole picture. So it hasn't been that hard. I've just got to really fine-tune what to do."
The Seahawks face the Denver Broncos later today.
