San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh has denied that he was close to being traded to the Cleveland Browns.
A report suggested that the Browns were ready to send multiple Draft picks to the 49ers to recruit the 50-year-old as their new head coach to replace the fired Rob Chudzinski.
However, the 49ers denied the report, and now Harbaugh has backed up their statement.
"I know nothing about a trade with the Cleveland Browns and us involving me," he told CSN Bay Area.
Harbaugh has been coach of the 49ers since the 2011 season and has led them to three-consecutive NFC championship games.
