San Francisco 49ers general manager Trent Baalke is adamant that there is no problem with the character of the players in his side's locker room.
The 49ers' off-season has been dominated by negative incidents involving quarterback Colin Kaepernick, cornerback Chris Culliver and linebacker Aldon Smith.
However, Baalke has admitted that the club are determined to stamp out any issues with their players.
"Those are damn good guys that work awfully hard at being good people and good football players," Baalke told the San Francisco Chronicle.
"So respect that as well. Respect the masses because the masses are doing it right. And we'll get the other things fixed."
The 49ers reached the NFC championship game last season, where they were defeated by the Seattle Seahawks.
