Pittsburgh Steelers earn seven-point win over Green Bay Packers

Le'Veon Bell scores an important touchdown to give the Pittsburgh Steelers a slender victory over the Green Bay Packers.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have earned a seven-point victory over the Green Bay Packers, having come back from a half-time deficit to win 38-31.

Jarrett Boykin put the Packers ahead in the first quarter when he caught hold of a five-yard pass from Matt Flynn, allowing Mason Crosby to kick for the extra point.

Emmanuel Sanders replied for the Steelers in the same quarter when he completed a one-yard run for the touchdown to level the score at 7-7.

Eddie Lacy produced an impressive 14-yard run in the second to give the Packers a slender lead of 14-7, before Shaun Suisham kicked a 31-yard field goal to bring the Steelers a little closer before the end of the half.

Ben Roethlisberger added a 13-yard run in the third quarter to take Pittsburgh's score to 17, but Lacy came back to add a two-yard run to ensure that the Packers went back in front.

However, their lead did not last for long as Cortez Allen pulled off an impressive 40-yard interception return to complete a huge quarter for the Steelers and leave them 31-21 up going into the final quarter.

It looked as though the visitors were about to squander the victory when Crosby notched a field goal and John Kuhn completed a one-yard run to tie the score, but Le'Veon Bell was on hand to finish a one-yard touchdown in order to give the Steelers a seven-point win.
