Mike Tomlin: 'Mike Adams has adjusted well'

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin feels that Mike Adams has adjusted well after being dropped from the offensive line and being placed at tight end.

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin believes that offensive lineman Mike Adams has bounced back well from being dropped and put into a new position.

Adams was removed from his side's offensive line after struggling to protect quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and has now been placed at tight end on running plays.

"He's doing a really nice job with what we're asking him to do as a tight end, and it's provided some good gas for us in that regard," Tomlin told reporters.

"I don't want to equate that to tackle play. Obviously, it's a different set of issues."

The Steelers face the Detroit Lions on Sunday.
