Pittsburgh Steelers place trio on injured reserve

The Pittsburgh Steelers place three players on injured reserve following their loss to the Tennessee Titans at the weekend.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have placed three players on the season-ending injured reserve list.

Center Maurkice Pouncey and running back LaRod Stephens-Howling both sustained knee ligament injuries, while linebacker Larry Foote suffered a biceps tear in the team's opening game of the season.

The AFC North side have filled the gaps on their roster by re-signing running back Jonathan Dwyer, as well as bringing in free agent center Fernando Velasco and kicker Shayne Graham.

The Steelers will play the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday.
