Running back Jonathan Dwyer has been released by the Pittsburgh Steelers as part of their roster cut down.
The 24-year-old played 13 games for the Steelers last season, running for 623 yards and scoring two touchdowns.
However, his commitment was questioned by coaches during the off-season and he struggled during pre-season, resulting in his release.
The Steelers also cut 21 other players including Brian Moorman, Alvester Alexander, Alameda Ta'amu, Brian Arnfelt, Alan Baxter, Terence Garvin, Marshall McFadden, Brian Rolle, Justin Brown, Reggie Dunn, Kashif Moore, Mike Golic, Chris Hubbard, Joe Long, Joe Madsen, Jamie McCoy, Nathan Overbay, Terry Hawthorne, Devin Smith, Ross Ventrone and Josh Victorian.
