Jarvis Jones has said that he feels "pretty comfortable" ahead of his first regular season game in the NFL.
The Pittsburgh Steelers used their first-round Draft pick to acquire the linebacker earlier this year.
The 23-year-old told the team's website: "It's time to go to work, no question about it. You go through the pre-season and get the experience and see the things you have to work on. Sunday is for all the marbles.
"I am pretty comfortable with most of it. We have a lot of information. We don't use all of our plays. We have certain ones we use against certain teams. You get those plays and then go back down the list of plays we installed weeks ago and research.
"Everybody has a role and my role is not to start. I just have to come in there and make things happen when I can. I have to take care of my opportunities and do what my coaches and teammates ask me to."
The Steelers face the Tennessee Titans at Heinz Field on Sunday.
