Michael Vick looking forward to next season in the NFL

Quarterback Michael Vick says that he will definitely be playing football somewhere next season, whether it be for the Philadelphia Eagles or elsewhere.

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick is confident that he will have a team to play for next season.

Vick - who turns 34 before next season - lost his starting spot with the Eagles to Nick Foles halfway through the current campaign, with the team subsequently winning their division and making the post-season.

Despite not being first choice, Vick has not ruled out a return to Philadelphia, but would choose a starting position if offered it elsewhere.

He told CSNPhilly.com: "I don't worry about not finding a team. My skill set is still there, my arm is still there, my legs are still there, I'm still a playmaker, that's evident. I think at some point, I'll be playing somewhere next season.

"I'm playing again next year, that's the way I look at it. I know at some point I'll be back out there making plays for my team. It all depends what happens, where I'm at in my career. I'd never rule out staying. But I'm not thinking of that right now. I'm not thinking about the future. I'm just thinking about doing whatever I can to help this team win a Super Bowl."

A cause for concern for teams interested in Vick is that he hasn't completed a season without missing at least three games with an injury since 2006.
