Jeremy Maclin feels stronger after ACL tear

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin admits that he feels better than ever ahead of the 2014 season after missing the last campaign with an ACL tear.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin has revealed that he feels stronger heading into the 2014 season despite tearing his ACL last year.

The 26-year-old sustained the injury during his side's training camp and as a result missed the entirety of the 2013 season, but after 12 months of recovery he has admitted that he feels better than ever.

"In some ways, I feel faster," Maclin told Philly.com. "In some ways I feel more fresh, more physically strong.

"I just think you put so much hard work into your rehab process that that's kind of what happens. You get that leg back.
"You build that leg back stronger. So like I said, I'm really looking forward to this year."

Maclin was selected 19th overall by the Eagles in the 2009 Draft.
