Nick Foles: 'I'm still the starter with the Philadelphia Eagles'

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles believes that he is still the club's starting signal-caller and is not worried about his future with the franchise.

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles feels that he is still in control of the starting spot at the club.

The 26-year-old was limited to just eight matches last season as he sustained a broken collarbone, which put a huge dent in his side's push for the playoffs as they ultimately missed out with Mark Sanchez at the signal-caller position.

Reports have suggested that the Eagles could look for a quarterback in the Draft in three months' time, but Foles is adamant that he is not concerned about his role with the club until head coach Chip Kelly suggests he should feel otherwise.

"I'm still being introduced as that, but then you get asked different questions, the rumours and everything, so that is a part of it," Foles told NFL Network. "But still getting introduced, and that's, in my mindset, that's where I'm at.

"It's always about the trade rumours - that's always the hot topic. But that's one of those things where you just have to smile about. The only thing I listen to is what [coach] Chip [Kelly] decides, and that's all I care about."

Foles has thrown for 6,753 yards along with 46 touchdowns to 17 interceptions in his three-year NFL career.
