The Philadelphia Eagles have signed wide receiver Joe Anderson in an attempt to strengthen their wide corps department.

Anderson joins the Eagles having spent just over a year at the Chicago Bears, where he progressed through the ranks to make their reserve squad and special teams for the last three games of the regular season in 2012.

However, the wide receiver failed to make it past six appearances for the Bears last season, having picked up an abdominal injury before being waived while on the sidelines.

Anderson now becomes Philadelphia's 12th signing since the close of the 2013 campaign.
