Patrick Chung has been listed as doubtful for the Philadelphia Eagles' game against the Denver Broncos this weekend.
The safety, who has made 18 tackles so far this season, has not practised this week because of a shoulder injury.
Rookie Earl Wolff, who will take Chung's place if he is unable to play, told the team's official website: "It's going to be a good opportunity, a great challenge.
"I'm a very competitive guy and I'm just ready to take advantage of every opportunity that I get."
The Eagles have won just one of their three games so far this season, while the Broncos are unbeaten.
