Half-Time Report: Philadelphia Eagles hold advantage over St Louis Rams

Touchdowns from Chris Maragos and Riley Cooper give the Philadelphia Eagles 20-7 lead over the St Louis Rams.

The Philadelphia Eagles scored late in the second quarter to extend their lead to 20-7 in their game against the St Louis Rams.

The Eagles took an early lead when Johnny Hekker's punt was blocked, leaving Chris Maragos to return the ball for a touchdown.

Philadelphia continued to enjoy the better offensive chances, but could not find the end zone again in the first quarter, leaving Cody Parkey to add a pair of field goals.

LeSean McCoy tried to get the running game going for the Eagles in the second, but after evading a series of tackles, the running back fumbled, giving the ball back to the Rams.

Austin Davis eventually found Brian Quick to get the Rams on the board, reducing the home side's lead to just six points.

However, Nick Foles led a strong drive late in the second for the Eagles, resulting in Riley Cooper hauling in his first touchdown catch of the season, restoring Philadelphia's 13-point advantage.
