Court finds Oakland Raiders innocent of age discrimination

NFL team Oakland Raiders are found innocent of age discrimination.

Oakland Raiders have been found innocent of age discrimination in court today.

The NFL team released two scouts in 2012, who then accused them of releasing older members staff in order to replace them with younger ones.

However, a jury took just a few hours to decide that the team did not release Bruce Kebric, who was 68, and Jon Kingdon, who was 59, because of factors relating to their age.

The scouts' attorney, Barbara Lawless, said that she was "shocked" by the decision and intends to appeal.
