Terrelle Pryor plays down knee injury

Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor insists that his injured knee is "stable" despite it forcing him off during his side's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor has eased concerns over a knee injury that he picked up during his side's match against the Philadelphia Eagles yesterday.

Pryor was forced off midway through the fourth quarter of his side's 49-20 defeat at the hands of the Eagles, having been hit while going out of bounds.

However, the 24-year-old insists that his knee is "stable" and seemed more concerned with turning his side's season around.

"It's stable. I can walk on it, nothing's wobbling. That's the first thing they asked: Was it wobbling? No," Pryor told reporters.

"[The result is] embarrassing. I hate losing. It's not acceptable to me and I don't like it. All the guys in here agree with me. We have to do something about it instead of tanking it."

Running back Darren McFadden was also forced off during the match having aggravated a hamstring injury that he first picked up against the Washington Redskins on September 29.

"I'm just trying to ride with it right now, come in tomorrow and see what the trainers say. It's just sore right now," McFadden added.

The Raiders now sit bottom of the AFC West ahead of Sunday's match against the New York Giants.
